Holiday Lights Alamo
Walk the beautiful Alamo grounds after hours to see the beautifully illuminated gardens and the Christmas tree at Alamo Lights at The Alamo. Visiting the gardens this year will include string lights in the majestic live oak, pecan, and other trees, as well as installations on the grounds by David Crockett, Juan Seguin riding on horseback, and others!

Lightscape at SABOT
Lightscape returns for its second season at the San Antonio Botanical Garden this holiday season. More than one million lights and festive artistic displays will enchant guests yet again. An outdoor illuminated 1-mile walkway will set to festive music and showcase some installations never seen in San Antonio before, as well as beloved features that wowed audiences in its preview season. You won't want to miss this spectacular show, so be sure to purchase your tickets in advance!

Las Nuevas Tamaleras, a play by Latina playwright Alicia Mena, is San Antonio's annual holiday tradition. Check out this play featuring three Latinas who get a little help from two tamaleras' spirits when they are new to the tamale-making process.
The 13th Kwanzaa Market Festival is the perfect opportunity to support Black-owned businesses and entrepreneurs. Christmas is celebrated by Kwanzaa from December 26th to January 1st in commemoration of African American heritage. A feast called Karamu is held to celebrate family, community, and heritage.
Arts and crafts, food, an African fashion show, entertainment, and lots of vendors of handmade goods and Kwanzaa-themed items will be on display at the Kwanzaa San Antonio market. In San Antonio, we celebrate all major cultural holidays, so join us for a fun shopping event.
